Drive to the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo – May 31st

May 31st: Drive to the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo (https://www.airzoo.org/)

We are getting close to our first drive of the year.  Hoping for good weather and good roads.  Just wanted to give you a little more information about this drive.

First registration is not required.  Just show up at the starting point.

The drivers meeting will be at 9:00 am SHARP.  We will discuss the required safety and courtesy rules.  We will depart as soon as the meeting is over.

This event will include an approximately 2-hour drive from the east side parking lot of the Grand Ledge Meijer to the Air Zoo, with a pit stop at MOO-ville.  This will be a relatively quick stop, no dawdling.

The Air Zoo is open until 5pm, and we want plenty of time to see everything.  This is one of the premiere airplane history museums in America.  With fantastic displays.

There is a café at the museum for lunch.

Admission is $18 for adults, $15 for seniors over 60, $16 for youth 5-17 and under 5 is free.  Military and first responders are 50% off.

Be honest, who doesn’t want to get up-close and personal with a SR-71 Blackbird or a F4U Corsair!
