Why I bought my first Porsche – Steve Lee

I’ve always been a gearhead and fun cars were always part of my life. Since I was a teenager I’ve kept a list of cars to someday own. Being from Michigan, American cars played heavily on that list but over the years that changed. The list evolved to include different brands as well as different types of cars. One type was “mid-engine” and one brand was Porsche. I’ve always been a convertible guy, so the Boxster was an obvious choice. Better yet it checked 2 boxes off the list! I started my hunt for a lightly used Boxster and found just the right one in Grand Rapids. I immediately joined PCA and started attending club meetings. Later that year my wife and I attended our first Parade. It turns out PCA members are a great group of people who’s love of cars brings them together.
